“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cees van Luijk, our highly respected shareholder and commissioner. Mr van Luijk passed away on Sunday, June 8th 2014 in Spain.
Cees van Luijk had been a partner at Coopers & Lybrand from 1982, when he became their executive manager in 1992 and guided them towards the merger into PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998.
He went on to work as CEO for Getronics from 1999 to 2001, after which he took on several supervisory functions as board member or commissioner in companies like Holland Colours, Capital C-Ventures and Aerialtronics
Mr van Luijk will be remembered as an esteemed financial advisor, with an engaged attitude and a unique charisma. Our thoughts go out to his wife Renske, his sons Daan and Derk, his daughter Sabine, their partners and children. We wish them strength and peace in life to deal with this immense loss.”
